The finally stopped raining.

Lola came to visit. We’ll be walking the territory and wrestling all week.

I don’t remember the last time I saw the sun. Me and the boy have been going out in the rain everyday and I am getting tired of it. I miss my lazy days in the sunshine.

The strings on my back have been bothering me and I have been trying to chew them off. The boy put some of his blankets on me but it’s still itchy and this funny collar won’t let me get to it.

The boy and left me alone after our walk and they came home they took the collar and blanket off me. I think they forgot about me and I managed to take a string out. The boy got mad at me but the girl came to my side and put the collar and blanket back on me. The boy didn’t even tell me good night I think he is disappointed…

My bump on my back was getting bigger so the girl took me to this lady. The lady poked my bump and it hurt a little but she gave me some nuggets so I wouldn’t complain. The we went home and the next day I met the lady again. I remember getting some treats then waking up and my back being really sore. I stayed with lady all day but when it started to get dark the boy and girl picked me up and we went home. I was woozy all day and I think the girl felt bad so she made my favorite dinner. I am starting to feel better but now I have strings where my bump was.

The girl went to visit her friends in New York, but before she left for the weekend she told the boy that we should go out and do boy stuff. The boy was being really lazy so the girl looked up some stuff and found out that there was going to be a large pack walking around our new territory! We were really lucky because the walk the was the next day and we were still able to get tickets. Me and boy went to sleep extra early so we would have enough energy for the big day.

We woke up really early, well I woke up and I had to wake the boy up. It took a few extra barks but after he was up we went for a warm up walk. We did our usual walk plus the boy wanted to go by this park with a hoop on it that we passed the day before. Yesterday there were people running around a bouncing a big orange ball it looked like a lot of fun, but me and boy just watched. He looked kind of sad because I guess he wants to round around with other humans with the ball and hoop. After a few minutes we continued down to the starting point, it was a lot farther then it looked on the map. We had almost walked as far as we do in our morning walks and the thing didn’t even start yet.

Our Walk

The boy got some new clothes from a booth he had to sign into and I made a bunch of a friends with some other dogs that where there. I was on by best behavior I didn’t even bark once! At 9:30 the walk officially started. We tried to speed up to the front of the pack but it was impossible. There we more dogs and humans here then I had ever seen at the dog park. Everyone was in a good pace and we even got to walk in the street. It’s a big treat for me because the boy only lets me walk on the street when we are crossing the road. We walked for a while and eventually we came to a road that went above water, I think the boy was a little scared so I showed how easy it was to be tough and I kept on walking. Once we got to the other side I was getting thirsty but lucky these nice people had water ready for me and boy. We kept walking and eventually we came to another water road and walked back to the other side. It felt like the walk was never going to end I wasn’t really tired I just wanted to go out and play with the other dogs. Finally we made it to the end. The boy was given a blue paper and this girl gave me a toothbrush. We rested in the grass for a little bit and then we walked back home. The boy said he was sleepy because it was the most he had walked in a long time. We went about 6 miles and then later that night we out for another 2 mile walk. I really like how much time me and the boy spend walking now.

Maybe one of these days he will get the bike out and I can do some real running…

The boy came back last week and took me and the girl to our new town and house. There are a lot of tall rock houses and big metal rolling boxes. Every morning me and the boy wake up really early to check out different parts of our territory. There is even a little pond but I am not allowed there, I hate rules. Tomorrow is our first weekend I can’t wait!

The girl brought me to grandpaw’s shop today. I saw him lift the big cart he came in and took all the wheels off. The thing he used made a lot of noise. There are a lot of big carts here. I wish I can ride in all of them. I also saw my granduncles here. They gave me water and apples. Wish they had a bone for me.

I was hoping the boy would be here, but he’s not. I wonder where he went. I keep hearing his voice when the girl holds the brick to her ear. I wish I can eat that brick, but she won’t let me.

Its been five days since the boy left and I don’t know where he went. I saw him and the girl packing up their stuff and putting everything in a big truck. He even took my crate and our bikes! I wonder if he will be back. I hear his voice and I don’t know why I can’t see him. I wish I can ask him why he left  and why he left me with the girl.

After the boy left, my frenemy, Lola, came to visit. She came with the short girl who smells like flowers. We got to play outside and inside for days. We found a pig and destroyed it!  They left us home alone in the room and Lola was crying. She is so annoying. She always cries and wants the girls to let her do whatever she wants. Then they left. I miss Lola, but she’s still dumb.

So now its just me and the girl. The girl is not so bad to hang out with. She gives me treats and lets me sleep on the floor with her. She talks to me a lot and I have no idea what she is saying. I just look at her and hope she gives me another treat. I miss the boy.
